A member of  the  Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Ijebu North East Constituency, Hon. Fasuwa Johnson, popularly known as Yomi FAJ on Wednesday distributed white boards and accessories to all primary and secondary schools in his  constituency as part of  efforts to complement Governor Dapo Abiodun's gesture of boosting  the education standard in the state.

Yomi FAJ during the presentation of the materials at the Local Government Education Authority, imuroko maintained that the materials will aid effective learning. 

He submitted that education is the bedrock of development just as he expressed optimism that he would stop at nothing to support the educational pursuit of the future leaders in his constituency. 

The assemblyman added that  the provision of the white boards is to replace the chalkboards which are gradually being phased out.

Yomi FAJ said '' Today I am presenting white boards and accessories to all primary and secondary schools in my constituency.This is part of my efforts to compliment  the efforts of our hardworking governor in boosting education standard of the state.  I will be the first honorable to  replace the chalkboards with White boards in this constituency. I  have discovered that the chalk boards are not good for the health of the pupils so it is part of the reasons for the replacement."

"When I was vying for this  position, I actually  made it a  pledge that I am going to contribute to the development of schools, I could remember what I said then, I said if by God's grace I win, I will replace the chalkboards with white boards, I thank God now  that I am fulfilling my promise and I am happy my people are witnessing it."

''I want to appeal to all teachers of the schools to judiciously make use of the materials so that it will last. I also want to use this medium to beg our people to continue to support the current administration of prince Dapo Abiodun, you can all see that the man is really working hard to take the state to a greater height. Today's programme was made possible because of the opportunity given to us by our hardworking governor,  I will enjoin us to  support him  for another term in office''

In his speech, the executive chairman of the local government, comrade Badejo Foluso appreciated for his kind gesture of Yomi FAJ.

In a remark, the Chairman SUBEB and TESCOM, Dr. Femi  Majekodunmi and Evangelist ifadare lauded the efforts of Honourable Johnson towards improving the education of the students in his constituency.

Meanwhile, Oba Olusanu Emmanuel political leaders, honourable members , Baales and Chiefs commended  the lawmaker for the provision of the materials

Also, the publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye  described the assemblyman as a man of his words, saying that the people in his constituency called him ''Better Pikin'' because he  is good man.

He said that the assembly man has proven it to the people already that he deserves another term in office.

Tunde Oladunjoye said'' Yomi FAJ is very popular among his people, he has done well and his loved by his people, what he has donated came out of creative mind, he is building the  future for the young ones that will benefit from the kind gesture''.

On his part  Honourable Elemide Oludaisi representing Odeda local government constituency revealed that Yomi FAJ is very passionate about his constituency, adding that he  has done many projects and empowerments for his people.

And a former  member of House of  representatives in Ijebu North East, Hon. Kehinde Odeneye hailed Yomi FAJ for the kind gesture.

The Baales and chiefs in the community also appreciated the outstanding assembly member for his good deeds just as  they showered him prayers.

The Leadership and members of ANCOPSS, AOPSHON, NUT, ASUSS, APSTON,PTA, SBMC were also present at the event.
