The death has been announced of Pa Samson Oladipupo AJILEYE, a community leader in Ile Ife, Osun State, and father of Venerable Shadrach Olaniyi AJILEYE, the Vicar, St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu Remo; and Archdeacon, Iperu Remo Archdeaconry.

Pa AJILEYE, a devout Christian, and Patriarch of the AJILEYE family, according to a release, signed by Tope OYEKAN, People's Warden, St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, died in his sleep, early today at IIe Ife, Osun State, at the age of 89.

He is survived by twelve children, among whom are Ven. Shadrach Olaniyi AJILEYE; and Olagbaju AJILEYE;

Also surviving the deceased are Olusola AJILEYE; Olalekan AJILEYE; Bosede AJILEYE; and Oladunni AJILEYE.

Born of an Osogbo father and an Ile Ife mum, his father migrated to and settled at Oke Igbo during his growing up years.

Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.

While expressing our deepest condolence to the Vicar, and his siblings; the AJILEYE family; and all those left behind to mourn the glorious transition of baba, we pray that the good Lord grant them all, the fortitude to bear his exit.
