Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA) has collaborated with a private internet firm, AOA Windscreen Limited to improve its service delivery through digital payment platforms.
Special Adviser to the Governor and Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Mr. Ola Oresanya made this known in Abeokuta, noting that the partnership would provide door-to-door payment service opportunities to residents after proper enumeration.
Oresanya stated that the partnership which is in form of e-billing, e-payment and e-receipt would eliminate hardship faced in payment for waste services, saying the system would bring onboard new clients, tagging of all clients, e-inquiries, or complaint process for proper monitoring of waste disposal.
He urged households, commercial and industrial outlets that keyed into the waste-management payment reforms to take advantage of the stress-free innovation for better service delivery, adding that the drive would also increase the revenue generation efforts of OGWAMA.
Responding, the Managing Director, AOA Windscreen Limited, Mr. Cole Adeboyejo said the new agreement would make waste management processes faster and easier, assuring clients of credible, veritable, and safe digital automation of their payment devoid of estimated billings.
