The  Councillor representing ward 15, Isaga/ Ilewo, Abeokuta North Local Government, area of Ogun state , Hon. Moruf Erubami has provided water project  in Ekerin community in the local government. 

The residents of the community were so happy and joyous over the kind gesture of the councilor.

They couldn't hide their excitement as they showed appreciation and prayed for the  councilor for contributing toward the development of the community

Hon. Erubami during the  commissioning of the project noted that  the  kind gesture was borne out of his love and passion for the  people of the community.

He further assured her constituents of more projects in the ward, urging every resident of the ward to take ownership of the borehole for proper maintenance, so that it would last long.

Erubami submitted that before now the  people of the community had been facing difficulties in getting water, adding that to get water had not been easy for them.

He called on the residents of the community and Ogun State generally to continue to support the progressive party, APC, saying that it is the only party that will not disappoint them.

The councilor added that he was able to do the project because he is a member of the party and he will never leave the party.

The councilor commended  Dapo Abiodun for his developmental strides in the state, calling on the people of the state to support him for second term.

He said “ I am excited today because God has helped me in completing this water project because it was part of the promises I made during my electioneering  campaign and I thank God the promise came to past.  I have been giving back to my community before I became a councilor because it has been part of me. I want you to continue to support us, support APC, support our governor so we can continue to remember you''

Meanwhile, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abeokuta North local government Alhaja Faidat Sarumi  commended the councilor for the kind  gesture. 

The party  Chairman posited that the borehole project undertaken in personal capacity of the lawmaker  has proven his  love for the progress of his ward, adding that the people would always remember the name of the Councillor for good over the project

The party chairman showered prayers on Hon. Erubami for making the party proud.

She noted that his kind  gesture will further consolidate gains of the party in the community.

Faidat called on other councillors  in the council area to do likewise .

The party chairman added that the project will better the life of the people in the community.

Meanwhile, the former caretaker chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Tunde Tella commended the councilor for delivering on his promise to the people of the community.

He described him as man of his words, adding that this will help in his political career in future. 

Tella however urged other councilors  to emulate such worthy act, as a way of complementing the Government's efforts in providing for the citizenry.
