The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has described the demise of Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo, Oba Abdullateef Adeniran Akanni as shocking.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele made this known in Abeokuta during a visit to commiserate with the family of the late Monarch, saying he was a devoted Muslim, dogged and forthright person who was committed to the overall progress of Aworiland.
She noted that the Monarch would be greatly missed considering the role he played as a traditional ruler and representative of the progenitors of Ado-Odo, saying “I was recently in a function with him at Ilaro and had also received new year greetings from him, so, the news of his death is shocking’’.
The Deputy Governor who prayed for the repose of his soul and fortitude for the family and the community to bear the irreparable loss, assured of government’s support for the family.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Musa Akanni appreciated the Deputy Governor for the kindness in identifying with the family and prayed for needed wisdom to succeed in office.
On the entourage of the Deputy Governor were the Commissioner for Forestry, Hon. Tunji Akinosi, Commissioner 3 in the Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Sesan Fagbayi, Chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Waliu Taiwo, Chairman, Ado-Odo /Ota Local Government, Mr. Sheriff Musa, among others.
