The Ogun State Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro has been admonished to continue to uphold, sustain and enhance the tenets and qualities of the State Public Service for better service delivery.

A former Head of Service/Secretary to the State Government, who is also the Chairman, Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Otunba Babatunde Osokoya, gave the admonition when he led a delegation of the members of the Association to the Office of the Head of Service on a courtesy visit.

"The Ogun State Public Service, like its forebear, the Western State Public Service has always been in the fore front, please ensure that we retain the position", Otunba Osokoya said.

While reeling out the contributions of the Association to good governance in the State to include the resuscitation of the Public Service Forum, presentation of reports and documents on ways out of emerging societal challenges, amongst other things, the Chairman pledged the Association's readiness and availability to make use of their vast experiences where necessary.

Responding, the Head of Service appreciated the elders for the visit and promised to use all their pieces of advice to retain the Civil Service as the best among the comity of States.
