The Ogun State Government has cancelled the December edition of the monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise, which falls on Christmas day, Saturday, 25, 2021.

          A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Engr. Rasak Ojetola stated that residents should celebrate in a clean and tidy environment and give their wastes, which is expected to be more during the festive period to Private Sector Participants (PSP) assigned to their areas for proper disposal.

          The Permanent Secretary said the environmental personnel and Waste Managers will be on duty, while all government waste disposal vehicles and equipment will be deployed throughout the nooks and crannies of the State for a cleaner environment, wishing all residents and visitors to the State a peaceful and modest celebration.
