Ogun Central Senatorial hopeful, Hon. Olumide Jones has said that the people of Ogun Central deserve better representation other than what they are currently witnessing both at the upper and lower chambers of the National Assembly.
The was contained in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday.
The ICT expert opined that the masses gave their mandate to the representative in order to get good representation and feedback from them; regretting, however, that “it's obvious that reverse is the case.”
The PDP chieftain submitted that he joined the race for the upper legislative chamber in order to bring government closer to people and to offer them the desired representation.
He added that many of his programs are grassroot and masses oriented, saying such programs will close that gap between public office holder and the grassroots.
Jones also maintained that the people has lost faith in the present APC representative at all levels, “because they have failed woefully.”
He said, “I am willing to bring that trust into our people and give them the desired representation.
"I have moved around and I have seen what our people are going through, and it's time for the people to start feeling the atmosphere of good Governance through good representation and facilitating of needed projects that will make life easier for the people.”
