The yuletide season is synonymous with exchange of gifts and goodwill among friends and family members as well as associates and neighbours.
It was against this background that two aspirants of the Ogun State House of Assembly ,Mr Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele popularly known as IWA and Wale Olorode took Christmas package to the children of the Hanzen Centre, Iberekodo Abeokuta.
The gifts was this Tuesday distributed to over 70 children in the Colony by the OGBC Santa Claus .
In a remark, the chairperson OGBC Father Christmas Funfair, Oladoyin Lasisi commended the sponsors for the partnership with the Nation's Model Station, OGBC in making the children of the Hanzen Centre happy during this season.
She informed that the annual event was part of the Station's social responsibilities instituted by the founding fathers.
Expressing delight about the objectives of the event, IWA and Olorode informed that children are to be treated with love.
According to the aspirants, nothing should be too big to create an atmosphere full of joy and pleasure for the children.
The children who were treated to various Christmas Songs and dance by the Santa Claus lauded the sponsors for identifying with the children of the less privileged in the society.
