A leader of the legislative arm of Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Sanni Sikiru Tunde, popularly known as Water on Thursday  donated  cash  to about 40  residents of ward 11 in the local government.

Sanni while presenting the cash to the beneficiaries  noted that  the move was part of fulfilment of his campaign promises.

The leader submitted  that giving back to the people is one of the habit he  learnt  from his leader, the Hon. Commissioner for Urban Development,  Hon. Taiwo Oludotun,  popularly known as Twinny.

The leader of the house promised that the donation will be on monthly basis as to give back to his people.

He said '' I decided to donate cash  to my people  to show appreciation to them for voting me to represent them and  this is going to be  on monthly basis to enable them feed well and improve on their businesses.

"I want to appreciate our leaders in Abeokuta North for their prayers and advice so far''. 

 The beneficiaries of the cash donation praised the leader of the house for  his kind gesture.

They therefore appreciated him for remembering them, describing him as a man of his words.
