The Speaker, Ado-odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Oluwabukola Balogun Omosowon has showered encomiun on Governor Abiodun for Sponsoring Ogun Councilors' to the National Councilors' Forum in Abuja Within a short notice.

The speaker, hon. Oluwabukola Balogun while commending the Governor for the opportunities to enhance Legislative Framework at the grassroots added that the 

National Councillors Forum of Nigeria was in conjunction with Ashraf Consulting Nigeria Ltd., with the theme :“CONSOLIDATING LAWMAKING IN REVENUE GENERATION IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEVEL AND SECURITY CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA. CRIME PREVENTION AND CONTROL IN GRASSROOT”

Hon. Oluwabukola said the programme was to sensitise the legislators on their importance to the grassroots and the effective and efficient usage of legislative power conferred on them for the betterment of the society as against selfish interest.

She added that the programme was purely an eye opener to sustainable governance and goal- oriented which in no doubt will facilitate and enhance their productivity on the mandate given to them adding that the representatives of each local government should endeavour to dish out what they have learnt to their colleagues since good governance is a collective responsibility.

Oluwabukola enjoined the residents in Ogun State to cooperate with the present administration describing Gov. Dapo Abiodun as 'God's Gift' working assiduously to position the state as number one in the comity of States in the country.
