Asiwaju (Barr) Mokesioluwa Seun Adedamola (Akesi)has declared her intention to contest as Ogun State House of Assembly representing  Ijebu Ode Constituency in the forthcoming Election in Ogun state.

Akesi made the declaration at the Distribution of Xmas Gift to APC Party Members at the Party Secretariat in Ijebu Ode.

Akesi reminded everyone about the ethos of APC which are Justice, Peace and Unity.

" My people deserve Better Representation, I want to use  this opportunity to let you know that,  come 2023,  I will be contesting for the post of House Assembly representing Ijebu Ode Constituency, I want to assure you of Truth, Fairness and Justice as I declare my intention to Contest for the Post" She said.

AKESI enjoined the Party Members to support her ambition, saying she can not do it alone without their Support.

Responding, The chairman of APC, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Mr Kunle Aromolate said the Party recognizes the Good work that Akesi is doing, especially in taking care of the Party Members.

" I want to thank you on behalf of the party members in Ijebu Ode Local Government for the Donation of Xmas Gift to the APC Party Members in Ijebu Ode Local Government. I want to say this, You are the first person to give out Xmas Gift to the party members in Ijebu Ode, keep it Up." He said.

Highlights of the Event includes Inauguration of Local Government Coordinator for AKESI in each Ward, donation of N50,000 Cash Gift each to Women Leaders & Youth Leaders in the LGA to support their upcoming events. She also gave individual cash gifts to everyone present at the event alongside 100 Akesi goodie bags with each bag containing rice, semovita, Indomie and exotic Schweppes drinks. She distributed 50kg bag of rice, 5 boxes of Indomie and 30 pieces of 2022 Almanac to each Ward in Ijebu Ode LGA.

Party leaders present included the LG Party Chairman, LG Party Vice Chairman, LG Party Secretary, LG PRO, LG Woman Leader, LG Youth Leader and all Youth Leaders, Women Leaders and Secretaries from Wards 1 to 11. 

Also present was Mr. Raymond Odukoya and some of Akesi’s friends from Lagos.
