An Aspirant vying for the seat of Ogun State House of Assembly, Abeokuta South Constituency 1,  Hon. Sowunmi Olarenwaju, popularly known as LASEM has declared his intention to run for the seat of Ogun State House of Assembly in Abeokuta South Constituency 1.

 He boasted  that he will unseat Hon. Yusuf Adejojo in the upcoming general elections.

Sowunmi maintained  that he will win in the primary election.

LASEM assured that if elected he will perform better than Adejojo .

He added that  he is a grassroots politician 

The grassroots politician  disclosed this while declaring his intention to run for the seat of Ogun House of Assembly Constituency 1 at Ijemo, ward 5, Abeokuta South Local Government.

He added that  he is a typical Egba son, calling himself ''Ogidi Omo Egba''.

The Aspirant said "today I  am declaring my intention to run for the seat of Ogun State House of Assembly. You accepted me to be in your midst this evening because I have never left you. I  have been attending meetings together with you and I know your pains and yearnings . I want to promise  that if elected I will  not forget you , I will continue to make my self  available to you" he concluded.

He also promised to empower many people in Abeokuta South so as to take them out of poverty.

"If you elect me into the office, I want to  assure you all  that i will not disappoint you, I will empower people, I know how to do it. It is not enough to give out motorcycles and grinding machines but we can also fix some people in various ministries in the State by getting them permanent jobs.
