The party chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Fagbenro has said that there is no go area for any gubernatorial candidates accept Governor Abiodun in the local government.

He  maintained that Abiodun remains the only  sole candidate for 2023 general elections.

The party chairman disclosed this  during an extra ordinary meeting specially conveyed for the purpose of endorsing Governor Abiodun for second term which  held at the party secretariat, Oke Ejigbo, Abeokuta.

The party chairman  described  governor Abiodun's performance so far as excellent, urging him to continue his good works in developing the state.

He said that the  governor has performed wonderfully well than any other governors in the past.

Fagbenro submitted that all members of the party are going to support Abiodun's re- election bid 

He said "I want to welcome everyone for attending today's meeting, this is to show that we all cherish the governor of the State. Our governor sent me to you all to appreciate you for your unflinching efforts towards his government. I want us to know that what the governor has been doing no other governors in the past have done so. What more can we say , is it the abandoned projects that he has completed or the projects he has been able to facilitate, we have all seen  a lot of infrastructural  development in the state, the is more than enough for us to support him for second term". 

''He has promised us that we will not regret what we have done for him. We stood by him during 2019 elections and  he appreciated it.

"Despite the fact that  senator Amosun  used his cap to steal the state's money Abiodun was able to make use of available resources to develop the state" he added
