A grassroots politician, comrade Sowunmi Olarenwaju popularly known as  LASEM  has showered encomiums on his father, who is also a  political leader in Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Sunday Showumi as he turns another year today.

LASEM in a congratulatory message to the celebrant, described him as a man of integrity.

He branded Showunmi as a politician with a penchant for distinction in leadership and an unshaken proponent of the culture of role modelling of younger generations.

The grassroots politician hailed the celebrant's commitment and efforts towards ensuring the progress of the progressive party, APC in the State.

He said that the people of Abeokuta South has acknowledged the outstanding role played Showunmi to stabilize politics in the state.

"Today I celebrate with Father, a  mentor, bridge builder, moulder, philanthropist whose footprints are being felt in Abeokuta South and Ogun State generally. 

"I pray that the good Lord shall grant him good health and long life as he turns another year today
