The party chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi has commiserated with the  families 

of those that lost their loved ones and properties to the early morning tanker fire that occurred at Oju Irin area of Lafenwa, Abeokuta.

The party chairman who rushed to the scene this morning described the incident as unfortunate.

Alhaja Faidat in a statement personally signed by her and made available to newsmen submitted that his  heart and that of other well-meaning residents of ogun state are with the traders and the families of those who lost their beloved ones and properties in the inferno.

The party chairman charged all relevant authorities within  the state to ensure that the cause of the fire was ascertained with a view to averting any future occurrence.

She prayed that God would comfort the families and repose the souls of the deceased.
