The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, has sent his warm felicitations to the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Adeleke IDOWU-BASIBO, Odoru V, and Iperu Indigenes on this year's Akesan Day Celebration, holding at Iperu, on Saturday, 27th November, 2021.
OGUNLEYE, according to a release from the council's Director, Information, Education, and Sports, Tope OYEKAN, rejoices with the monarch and entire sons and daughters on the 35th edition of the age-long celebration, which has fostered unity, progress, and development in the town over the years.
The Chairman also congratulates the Iperu Community Development Association, led by Chief Babajide OYETI, and all affiliated clubs and associations on this eventful celebration.
He commends the Akesan Day Celebration Committee, for the effective planning and preparation towards a successful hosting of the event.
In a similar vein, the Chairman heartily welcomes the Special Guest of Honour, Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, MFR, an indigene of Iperu, and Prince of the Amororo and Agbonmagbe Royal Dynasties to the event.
Governor ABIODUN will be accompanied to the event, by family, friends, associates.
