The Senatorial hopeful under the platform of Peoples  Democratic Party PDP, in Ogun Central,  Hon. Olumide Jones Popularly known as OJ paid for the renovation of the Ewekoro Local Government  Secretariat.

The Secretariat which has been Abandoned for long   received the attention of Olumide Jones when his Campaign Manager visited the Local Government in August 2021.

The Campaign Manager who spoke on behalf of Olumide Jones said the senatorial hopeful  is interested in giving full attention to the Party activities and promoting Party brand across the six Local Government in the Central.

He said one of the step he want to take is to make sure that all the Local Government  in Ogun Central has a befitting Secretariat that will announce the solid presence of the Party and it's brand in all the LG.

Jones campaign manager  further said that although the present state of the said Secretariat is bad and unhabitable and cannot be proud of but Hon OLUMIDE JONES will change the face  completely and make the Secretariat an enviable one that will begin to attract new members into the Party in Ewekoro Local Government.

A month after the visit,Hon OLUMIDE JONES has kept his promise having completed the payment for the complete Renovation of the Secretariat that started two weeks ago.

He made this known when granting Interview with our correspondent when he visited the site to see the level of the work going on  the Secretariat.

He said, "As you can see that I am at the site and you can testify to the level of work going on here.

"Like I said few weeks back,you can see that Hon OLUMIDE JONES has kept his promise and I am here to access the level of job done so far and to make sure the balance were made.

"We hope that all the work will be completed by the end of October.

When asked about the other Local Governments ,he said that all the Local Governments have witnessed the touch of Hon OLUMIDE JONES but when time comes every Activity of the Hon OLUMIDE JONES will be made open to the public.
