Authority of Ijebu Ode Local Government Council has begun grading of Abattoir, Oyingbo, Awujale roundabout road in fulfilment of part of promises made by the present adminstration when the Chairman, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola Gazal visited the Abattoir shortly after he assumed office.

According to Gazal, the facelift was necessary due to the deplorable condition of the road, that put motorists and traders in untoward hardship, especially when it rains which he noted had been a major concern for the people buying and selling in the market.

"One of the major concerns of our administration is to first look for a way to grade the road leading to this Abattoir, particularly now that we're in rainy season. As we all know that presently Local Government is not bouyant of any elephant project due to paucity of fund, but as a responsive government, it is our responsibility to look for a way to bring sucour to our people", he said.

The palliative also extends to Oyingbo road roundabout and Awujale roundabout to Folagbade axis in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area.
