The Chairman, Yewa North Local Government, Hon. Gabriel Ogunyomi has assured residents of of the Area, of hiis administration's plan to embark on projects that would have positive impact on the residents of the council.
Ogunyomi made the assurance at Saint Paul Anglican Parish Church, Ayetoro during a Thanksgiving Service organized by Omoyayi Foundation, a non-government organization owned by his Vice Chairman, Hon Bukola Omoyayi, over the victory recorded during the last local government election.
He thanked Omoyayi for her support during and after the last election, calling on residents not to relent in their prayers for the government.
In her remarks, Omoyayi submitted that peaceful coexistence among various ethnic groups would strengthen national growth, urging citizens to be patriotic at all times and ensure that they pray for their leaders to sustain political stability.
She appreciated the residents for voting for them in the last council election, assuring that the dividends of democracy would be spread to nooks and cranies of the local government area.
The Diocesan Bishop, Anglican Parish Church, Yewa Diocese, Venerable Sunday Wusa pray for all Local Government Political functionaries, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and President Muhammad Buhari, admonished Nigerians to continue to pray for the well being of the nation
