The executive chairman, ijebu ode local government, Alhaji  Tunde Emilola Gazal has charged  the 2015 to 2021 graduating  set of Ijebu  Muslim  College  (senior  school) to be a good ambassador  of their alma mater.

This call was made during the Valedictory  and induction  into IJEBU  MUSLIM  COLLEGE  OLD STUDENT  ASSOCIATION (IMCOSA)/AWARD CEREMONY. held on wed 20th of October, 2021 inside the school  hall. 

In his opening  remarks,the council  boss  who also was the  old student  of the school  reminds them that today marks  the end of their secondary  school education  which is just a stepping  stone,it is also  the beginning  of another tougher phase which  he believed  they have been  adequately  prepared  through  teaching and various  moral talks.

The council  boss also urged the graduands  to always have God in whatever  they do and advised them to desist from evil acts that can tarnish  their image which may lead them to problems  in their  future  endeavors. Alhaji 

Gazal further admonished  them that they should  also give back  to their alma mata and to always emulate some distinguished  old students as their  role models.                

In her farewell  speech, the principal, Mrs Adeniran Idris showered encomiums  on the current  administration, the Executive  Governor of  Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for  his immeasurable  commitment  to the development of education in the state.

She later  expressed  her gratitude to God for granting  the graduands the grace of successful  completion of  their  sojourn in the citadel of learning. 

Adeniran further  recognised all the guests present at the occasion  most especially the IMCOSA NATIONAL  PRESIDENT  Engr Kayode Shote,an elderly  man who has listening ear and who is also passionate about the well being of his alma  mata.To the graduands, she said she was happy because  they  came ,saw and conquered. 

The principal named the set THE EAGLE  and that they will all continue  to soar higher like an eagle .

Awards were  later presented  to outstanding  personalities  towards their contribution towards the development of the school. The awardees  were Engr Kayode Shote,Alhaji Gafar Adewunmi Temitayo and  Engr Femi Omotayo.              

Finally  the IMCOSA PRESIDENT, Engr  Kayode Shote and Alhaji Emilola  Gazal  later inducted  the graduands  into the old students  Association.
