OGUN TACKLES CONGESTION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who made this observation during a meeting with school principals at the Ministry’s conference room in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta pointed out that the decongestion would further boost academic performance of students.

“The present government has been able to tackle overcrowding issues in public schools, through screening examinations into the 42 flagship schools and placement of students into other schools. I believe this will go a long way to aid teaching and learning activities”, he said.

The Commissioner urged the principals to make adequate preparation in their various schools for the 2021/2022 academic session resumption, charging them to set good examples in terms of good morals and excellent academic performance for others to emulate.
