Activities marking the 61st National Day celebration in Ogun State commence tomorrow, Friday, September 24 with a Jumat service at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta by 1.00pm.

A release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, indicated that an Inter-denominational church service is scheduled to hold on Sunday, September 26 at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake, Abeokuta starting at 10.00am.

The release stated that the weeklong activities would be rounded off with a grand finale at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 10.00am, featuring parades by the Armed Forces, Police, Labour and Trade Union groups, as well as March Past by various schools across the State.

The release enjoined all participants in all the outlined programmes to observe COVID-19 protocols.
