The Chairman, Yewa North Local Government, Hon Gabriel Ogunyomi has assured traders of Oja-Odan to upgrade facilities, improve security and provide other identified needs

Ogunyomi stated this during a tour of the market and frowned at the traffic jam being experienced by motorists along the axis,occasioned by display of goods beside the road

He said that the present administration under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun remains unwavering at ensuring the markets in Ogun State operate optimally

Also speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration,Mr Ayo Lemose assured that,the council would look into challenges raised towards improving trading at the market, appealing on traders to cooperate with revenue officers to enhance development

Speaking earlier, the Iyaloja Oja Odan Alhaja Birikisu Dosunmu appealed to the council to renovate the damaged shops at the market, as well as evacuation of blocked drainages for allow flow of water during rainfall, while the Iyaloja of Yewa Land,Alhaja Yemisi Abass enjoined traders to pay their tickets dues as at when due and appealed the government for improved facilities at the market
