The Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya has assured that government will continue to provide the needed impetus to attain its set objective on infrastructural development for the economic viability of the State.
Engr. Akinsanya who gave this assurance during an assessment tour to some ongoing projects, stated that the determination of Governor Dapo Abiodun to deliver on his mandate, necessitated the rehabilitation, reconstruction and completion of numerous road projects across the State.
The Commissioner while speaking on some road projects in Ogun Central which included Panseke-Adigbe, Lafenwa-Rounder, Adatan-Gbonogun, Kemta-Somorin and Ifo roads, among others are getting attention, adding that Ejirin-Mobalufon- Oluwalogbon, Ijebu-Ode- Epe, Igan-Imere, Molusi College roads in Ogun East, Ado-Odo-Ikoga and Toyin Osoba street roads in Ado-Odo/Ota , as well as Papa-Ilaro road in Yewa South Local Government Area, will soon be completed.
"The State government prioritises economic activities in the State, not only to boost its economy, but to make it an industrial destination for investors. This is why the present government has continued to rehabilitate various roads, alongside construction of new ones", Engr. Akinsanya stated.
The Commissioner pointed out that completed road projects are Raypower, Navy- Osi- Ikola, Fajol-Ajegunle American junction- Unity Estate, Ejirin-Mobalufon- Oluwalogbon and Ijebu-Ode- Epe roads and many others.
