OGUN CABINET MEMBERS PUT SMILES ON FACES OF HOSPITAL PATIENTS.
It seems all is not over yet for the celebration of the 2nd year in office and 61st birthday of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as members of his cabinet have given financial support to scores of patients in selected hospitals across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.
Speaking on the gesture, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, who was accompanied by her counterpart, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape and Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe to the State Hospital, Ijaye Abeokuta, in Ogun Central senatorial district, said the visit was geared out of the Governor's humane and passionate nature for the less privileged citizens in the State.
Coker said the Governor made his preference for an impactful birthday celebration rather than the elaborate jamboree known to people close to him, calling on high net worth individuals in the State to emulate such mindset.
Also speaking on behalf of cabinet members at the State hospital Ota, the Commissioner for Forestry, Engr. Tunji Akinosi, in the company of his counterpart, Commissioner for culture and tourism, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, pointed out that the Governor's sympathetic nature towards the downtrodden inspired the cabinet move.

Hospital, Ota, Dr. Taofeek Somade, congratulated the Governor on his 61st birthday and 2nd year in office celebration, noting that the current administration, led by Prince Dapo Abiodun has made a remarkable contribution towards developing the health sector.
The exercise was also replicated at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu in Ogun East Senatorial District of the State by the team comprising Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde, Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Dr. Tayo Lawal, and Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo.
