GOOD GOVERNANCE: AKARIGBO LAUDS ABIODUN'S EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENTAL FEATS


The Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi has given accolades to the present administration in Ogun State for ensuring equity in the distribution of dividends of democracy across the three Senatorial Districts.


Akarigbo said this at a reception organised by the Committee of Friends in honour of the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Political Affairs and Administration, Mr. Abayomi Sotubo, at his Palace in Sagamu.


Oba Ajayi who described Prince Dapo Abiodun as a forthright person with moral principles, honesty and decency, said his socio-economic developmental drive in road infrastructure, housing and health, among others had positively impacted on lives of the people.


"Prince Dapo Abiodun’s style of governance has shown fairness in the distribution of dividends of democracy. This has been done with good sense of transparency, accountability and sincere commitment. I commend him for his efforts so far, and enjoin everyone to continue to support his government", Akarigbo said.


Also speaking, the State Head of Service, Alhaja Selimot Ottun, attributed various socio-economic developments and the relative peace being enjoyed in the State to the foresight and exemplary leadership of the Governor, pledging the unalloyed cooperation of the State workforce.


          She described Mr. Sotubo as a hardworking officer whose deeds have fetched him the honour, noting that his virtues should be emulated by other civil servants in the State.


Responding, the honouree, Mr. Abayomi Sotubo, appreciated the organisers for the honour bestowed on him and applauded the State Government for giving him the opportunity to serve, promising to remain loyal, focused and committed to the ‘Building our Future Together’ agenda of the Prince Abiodun administration.
