STAFFERS CHARGED ON EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY
Staffers of Sagamu Local Government have been told to be proactive and be diligent in the discharge of their duties, to assist Ogun State Government in achieving its ' Building our Future Together' agenda.
The Transition Committee Chairman of the council area, Hon. Gbenga Banjo made the call at the golden jubilee and send forth organised in honour of a retired Director, Information, Education and Sports department, Mrs. Omolola Adeyinka, at the Local Government premises in Sagamu.
Hon. Baruwa noted that the retiring director would be missed for her dedication and selfless service to the development of the council, saying '' she had proofed her worth as seasoned journalist who knew her job and did it well to the best of her ability''.
He advised her not to relent in sharing the bountiful wealth of exprience, which he said had contributed to the development of the Local Government.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Head of Local Government Administration in the council, Mr. Wale Bamiro described the him as a loyal and dedicated civil servant, who had left a good footprint, urging other members of staff to emulate him.
Bamiro stated that she had made the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), local government chapel proud as she was the first person to become the NUJ Chairman, Caretaker Committee, Ogun State chapter, urging others to always put in their best and ensure effective service delivery, as local government recognises excellence.
Respoding, Mrs. Adeyinka appreciated the Chairman and members of staff of the council for their support, praying for God's guidance and support in all their endeavors.
She urged members of staff to always put in their best in any assignment given to them, saying that hardwork pays.
