OGUN IRS REACHES OUT TO MOTHERLESS HOME

Ogun State Internal Revenue Service has donated food items to the children of St. Pio Pietrelcina Charity Home (Ave Maria), Sagamu, as a way of giving back to the society and showing support to the indigent children.

The IRS Sagamu Tax Manager, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olatunbosun, who led the team to the orphanage said,  the items were donated  to the orphanage because, the children need such support, considering the present economic challenges facing the nation.


She noted that brighter future awaits children who are well catered for, urging residents of the State to always identify with orphans and make them have sense of belonging in the society.

Mrs Olatunbosun stressed that government was passionate about wellbeing of children, saying the best way to build future leaders was to take adequate care of them, especially, the less privileged.

Rev. Sister in charge of the Charity Home, Sister Maria Coredemptrix, appreciated the agency for the gesture, stating that the donated items would be of immense  benefit to the children.
