AMOSUN HARPS ON SECURITY FOR DEVELOPMENT

 No nation will experience peace in an atmosphere of insecurity, hence the need for all hands to be on deck for continued tranquillity, which was key to

development. 

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun

gave this submission at the breaking of fast with Service Chiefs/Federal

Government Agencies, at the Government House, Oke-Igbein in Abeokuta.

The Governor while commending the Security, Academic and the

Health Sector for effective service delivery, enjoined people to maintain

peace wherever they find themselves, saying that the people of the state

are one, irrespective of religion, tribe and beliefs.

 In their goodwill messages, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ahmed

Illiasu, Commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commander

Olusola Ayodele described the governor as a pragmatic man, who pursue his

mission with vigour, noting that he has created footprints, that would take

serious hard work to erase.
