Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has charged elected Councillors in the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas in the state to work hard and add value in their various constituencies.
The Governor gave this charge, on Tuesday, at the Oba's Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta while meeting with the newly elected 349 Councillors in Ogun State.
Governor Amosun disclosed that his administration is now focusing more on rural roads, among other projects, spread across the nooks and crannies of the state.
He also assured that no project would be left uncompleted by his administration.
The Governor added that fund has just been released for the construction of offices for all the newly created local council development areas in the state.
Governor Amosun, who described the local government as the closest government to the people, urged the Councillors to justify the confidence reposed in them by the electorates.
The Governor advised them to think out of the box and come up with great ideas to generate more internal revenue.
